The Botetourt Area Transparency Society affectionately takes our name from the endangered Indiana bat and other species that share our beautiful natural landscapes. We are not against sustainable growth - we are against harmful and  extractive companies like Google when they seek to exploit our home and its natural resources

BATS calls for honesty and transparency, and that Google implements every available protection to make their proposed projects in Botetourt, Roanoke, and elsewhere safe.
